About 308nm Xecl Excimer Light
The 308nm excimer light is a single-frequency light with a wavelength of 308nm produced by xenon chloride gas as the medium. The wavelength is close to NB-UVB, but the energy is 5-10 times higher than that. It can activate the differentiation, maturation and migration of hair follicles and skin melanocyte stem cells, and induce T lymphocyte death, promoting the restoration of white spots.
308nm excimer light is currently one of the most advanced phototherapy technologies for the treatment of vitiligo(the other one is the 308nm excimer laser which is most used in hospitals), and it is also the phototherapy device for the treatment of vitiligo approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

308nm excimer light is able to uniformly induce T cell apoptosis and stimulate the rapid division and proliferation of normal melanin in the hair follicles in the white spots. And eventually the skin can mostly recover to its original color.

- 308nm excimer light is suitable for patients of all ages from infants to the elderly. It can also be safely used for the treatment of special parts including eyelids, lips, external genitalia, and perianal areas.
- Patients with solar dermatitis, lupus erythematosus, malignant tumors, xeroderma pigmentosum, Bloom syndrome, dermatomyositis, pregnant women, and other patients who are not suitable for ultraviolet irradiation treatment, etc. are not suitable for this irradiation.
