About 308nm NB-UVB Light

A 308nm NB-UVB light is a single-frequency light with a wavelength of 308nm produced by LED. It can activate the differentiation, maturation and migration of hair follicles and skin melanocyte stem cells, as well as induce T lymphocyte death and promote the restoration of white spots.

This 308nm NB-UVB phototherapy machine has strong targeting, high energy intensity, quick effect and good therapeutic effect. It targets lesions precisely and powerful. It is especially suitable for small-area plaque irradiation such as face, hands and feet. Especially suitable for localized small area, or lesion part is less than 10% of your whole body, and early stage of your skin problem, or noneffective with traditional 311nm uvb phototherapy.

Additionally, clinically proven that LED 308nm UVB make the treatment of vitiligo as fast and effectively as with an excimer system. Its smaller size and lower weight, and easy to use, make it more flexible than excimer laser. With comparably lower price aquisition and no change of gas, it is also more cost-effective and affordable than excimer laser.

Before starting each treatment, you can first select the dose mode to set the total dose, or select the time mode to set the total exposure time. When the set parameters are used up, it means that the treatment is over and the machine will automatically stop working. Voice Prompt

Visible Treatment Effect

Usually, most users can observe darkening of the pigmentation at the edge of the white spot and the appearance of pigment islands on their skin within 2-4 weeks. Normally, erythema may occur locally after treatment, which generally lasts for about 24 to 48 hours and can basically disappear.

Attention Tips for Using 308nm NB-UVB Phototherapy

• 308nm NB-UVB light is suitable for patients of all ages from infants to the elderly. It can also be safely used for the treatment of special parts including eyelids, lips, external genitalia, and perianal areas.
• Patients with solar dermatitis, lupus erythematosus, malignant tumors, xeroderma pigmentosum, Bloom syndrome, dermatomyositis, pregnant women, and other patients who are not suitable for ultraviolet irradiation treatment, etc. are not suitable for this irradiation.
• Please remember to put on the anti-uv goggles before turn on the machine!
• Avoid skin trauma and friction, and patients should not wear tight clothes.
• Patients should wear sunscreen when going out and avoid strong sunlight after treatment, such as swimming at low-latitude beaches or traveling in high-altitude areas. Special attention should be paid to the fact that ultraviolet rays can damage the skin and induce and aggravate the condition.
• Avoid chemical stimulation. Patients should not dye their hair or paint their nails, and their hands should not often come into contact with irritating chemicals.
• Patients should eat a normal and balanced diet without any dietary restrictions. Try to reduce or avoid smoking and drinking, and take vitamin drugs.
